Flamewatcher
In my mind, and in the mind of many others, the biggest fault of Fallout 3 was the mostly generic dialogue trees. The problem, in my mind, was very evident in the credits of the game. There weren’t any writers on staff; the lead designer and several programmers doubled as the writers for the entire project. I want to add a greater depth and quality to the dialogue trees and I am looking for a proficient modder, or group of modders, that share the same sentiments about the dialogue and the desire to fix it. Let’s get one thing out of the way, I am not a modder. I have played around with the Geck, but I haven’t even finished the initial tutorials. The fact that I’m not a modder isn’t the point of this post, the point, is that I am a writer, a writer looking for a project. I think my writing style fits perfectly with the world of Fallout; my preferred styles are sarcasm, satire, and black humor, but I am capable of writing in any style. I don’t know if there are projects going on currently to address this issue, but if there are I would love to help. I could even contribute voice acting if it is needed. So if you are a modder looking to improve the dialogue of Fallout 3 don’t make the same mistake as Beth, get a real writer on board. -Flamewatcher
