yasutaka Posted December 17, 2008 Posted December 17, 2008 So, forgive me for being ignorant... I am more of a "tweaker" than a modder. I have been trying to change the range of various ranged weapons (mostly rifles) using TESsnip (and just a little bit in GECK), but I can't seem to figure it out. I should clarify, when I say range I am actually talking about two things: the physical range of the projectile, and the range an enemy has to be within for VATS to activate. I have messed around with the Max Range and Minimum/Maximum Spread variables, as well as the Reach and Range variables in GECK. I feel like this should be working, but maybe what I am trying to do is more involved that I am imagining? Any help is appreciated. EDIT: I have been messing around in GECK while waiting for someone to respond, and haven't actually gotten any results, but there are 60 or so VATS-related variables under Gameplay>Settings. So far I have experimented with fVATSDOFRange and fVATSMaxEngageDistance. I am also looking at the fVATSTarget* series of values, fVATSDistanceFactor (I think this one has to do with 'chance to hit' though), fVATSRangeSpreadMax, fVATSRangeSpreadUncertainty. I could still really use some help here.
