hello it's me again, this time I'm wondering if anyone can make the woodland grace ability received from wearing the KOTN boots, into a enchantment on a ring that takes up no slot.

Why?: because I'm getting tired of my elves, especially my wolf elf, being attacked by the woodland creatures. i mean come on aren't elves supposed to be one with nature?

Woodland Grace wasn't really an ability, it added you into a new faction as part of KOTN. This changed the disposition of the creatures in this new faction toward the player (similar to joining a guild).

 

A similar effect could be added to an enchantment, or even a racial ability for Wood Elves.

 

I'll do it as time permits, unless someone else tackles it.

We were just discussing this, because ever since I did that quest I've got woodland grace. It's literally been months since I completed that quest, and I took every scrap of armor back to the KOTN priory, and never actually bothered to wear them. For one thing, I only had the male version of the armor at that point, (found the female plugin later on), and my character is a very noble good person, so she felt it was important to restore everything she found during that quest (including a couple small items, -- a ring, and maybe a dagger or somesuch) to their rightful owners.

 

nevertheless, ever since then, wolves, mountain lions, spriggans, bears, you name it, none of those attack me even if I walk right up to them. I can only surmise that it's a bug that stuck on my character somehow, especially since I didn't install the unofficial patches. It actually works perfectly for my character in this game. I even totally screwed up the dark brotherhood start somehow, so she can't join that if she wanted to. Which she probably doesn't. :D A surprise for next time/next character!
