Deleted945028User Posted January 24, 2013 Share Posted January 24, 2013 A little back story may help you understand better what I'm trying to do.The mod adds an abandon control vault that I plan to use as a player home but many of the systems broke down years ago. The players mission is to fix the vault the best they can. Truth is i just don't know enough about scripting or making quests and the information on the GECK wiki is insufficient for something this complex so anything you all can add would be helpful. Here are an example of what I have planed. The generators have failed and the lights are out (I don't use ambient lighting so its very dark)Player must have a repair skill of 25+Lights in 4 cells will now come on.A terminal will now start workingThe terminal gives out a micro fusion cell daily also you can trade in batteries for fusion cells or vice versa at any time. Another issue is many of the systems are integrated. An example would be the Overseer's terminal it is broken until the computer core is fixed (as are most the other terminals).It allows you to hire NPC shop keepers if you want them. All NPCs require you to rescue a certain amount of wastlandersA trader requires the power to be fixed.An engineer (he repairs your stuff) requires the computer core to be fixed.
