Launius Posted July 26, 2020 Share Posted July 26, 2020 I've been trying to make the lenses on the gas masks transparent. So far I've got the models into the game without too much hassle. Unfortunately, I'm having an issue where the transparent textures are showing up like kind of cross-hatched. I've had to do a lot of tweaking of the BGSM files, so the issue might lie there. robotized Posted July 26, 2020 Share Posted July 26, 2020 Don't want to bring bad news, but there is already a mod that does this - Eyewear and mask retexture. I believe that for the mesh of the glass is set BSEffectShaderProperty with a BGEM file. The BGSM material is not good for semi transparency. You can take a look at the mod's files and see what exactly the author did, compare them with vanilla ones. Start by opening the nif files inside NifScope.
