[LE] Obtaining ownership of a Player Home, without breaking quests

I'd like to make a mod to remodel Riftweald manor in Riften and give the player ownership, but I'm wondering how I can do that without breaking the existing quest. I suppose it's similar to obtaining Severin Manor in the Dragonborn DLC, but this will also remodel the house in question. So how do I accomplish this?

You mean acquiring the house without actually buying it and doing the rest of the stuff that the 'Buy House Quest" has.
