SilverNirvash Posted January 25, 2013 Share Posted January 25, 2013 Hidden Skulls http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/6174 this mod basically added hidden randomly through out cyrodill special skulls that contained enchantments you could use on your equipment freely similar to sigil stones. yet there are no enchantment items in skyrim similar to sigil stones as far as i can tell at least. i find it a bit annoying really because you'd think they'd find a way to bring that over to skyrim seeing as that gave the players more freedom and choice. in skyrims enchantment system you have to destroy something thats enchanted to get the enchantment listed before you can put it on another piece of equipment and it won't usually be nearly as powerful as it was when you destroyed the original unless your enchantment skill is actually high enough. i always found this mod balanced it out for the players who don't focus on enchantment like myself seeing as i usually sneak around stealing and killing with my bow i don't really have time to enchant lol. (My English was REALLY bad at the times of Oblivion) But it would be really nice to have something like that. Like, sigil stones/crystal skulls could be REALLY rare artifacts. Only found with random chance from dungeons or some vendors who could get some precious things, yes? (Khajiit traders, that bosmer at College and so on. ) exactly something rare that would act like a sigil stone. basically all the crystal skulls were were modified sigil stones that were findable outside of the oblivion realm. so why cant skyrim have something similar?
