hogwash247 Posted December 18, 2008 Share Posted December 18, 2008 Hi, I'm trying to make a mod that changes those silly nerf ball lookin tracers into something more like in Gears of War (cause those are just awesome to me) more like vapor trails i suppose. I've made a mesh and have it in game but I just can't figure out what determines the color. I have played with the emissive color in nifskope and that does the trick if I change it to pink or lime green but the thing is, I want a white or light gray and it just doesn't seem to work unless it has some color. as far as I can tell the fx texture just determines the opacity (and I can't really figure how this works either). I would settle for vanilla mesh if I could just change the color. I have a very poor understanding of how material works in nifskope so any help would be great, thanks.
