Request synths for your settlement

So lets say your part of the institute and you want to send a synth or hell, a courser to your "Institute" themed settlement? just use the workshop synth production... BUT! you wish for them to be randomly generated and don't have to bother with THOSE BLOODY ROAC-

Description:

So I'm thinking lets say theres a terminal in the synth production division room, that gives you option to put a synth/courser to a settlement of your choice that is randomly generated, could be male or female, could have makeup, could anyone.

lets say something like this:

Beep Boop Terminal activates

|What Kind of synth| |Optional: Gender| |Settlement|

[Request a synth] -> [Gen 1] -> [suprise me] -> [sanctuary Hills]

[Gen 2] [Female] [The Slog]

[Gen 3] [Male] [Abernathy farm]

[Courser] [Etc]

And thats my idea, why dont i do it myself, well I don't really understand the CK and it would take me a while to figure this out, while someone efficient could probably get this done in like 5 days, or something i dont know, and B: Why dont i just use the workshop synth production mod, when i could just steal the data of a random settler and shoot them afterwards? Cause i dont want to bother with roaches, and i'm too brain dead to figure out why, oh and i have morals (kind of) the only exception i'd make is the original roger warwick and marcy long.

There is a mod that allows you to build them

As in synth production, or do you mean the automaton mod which I completely forgot about, also if you mean the automaton mod, that is only gen 1 and 2

There's a mod that lets you build Gen 1 and Gen 2 Synths and another mod that lets you build the Gen 3 Humanlike Synths.

The former: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/27829/

The latter: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16354

I've installed them both though I haven't gotten to the point where I can use either one of them yet so I can't say if they actually work right now.

Hi Immortal, it's Immortal, there was a really cool mod for Gen 1's & 2's but unfortunately the author deleted their account, I really want to be able to have them even in a Railroad playthrough (Glory's ideals).

The one you shared had human voices last I checked, on G1 and G2, let me know if you find anything better :P

The Second one you linked works great. You build a body scanner gun and scan whoever you want to clone as a synth. They then count as a regular settler at whatever settlement you created them at. Using AFT you could recruit and dismiss them to whatever settlement you wanted.

I've never tried scanning a gen 2 synth. I'll try it out and update this post.

So, I tested it on Dima (from far harbor) and it worked so it should make any gen synth you scan.

I think with the Gen 1 and Gen 2 you're supposed to be able to build them with the standard Automaton workbench.
