Can I hire a modder here?

I have what I assume is a pretty quick job and I don't really have the time (or rather the desire to spend the time) to invest in learning the kits for FO4 because I'd rather be building.

Job is pretty simple: large walls and foundations that are 1 foundation thick, with snap points and appropriate collision, but are 4x4 and 8x8 foundation size otherwise and a corner piece for the walls, in institute white (they don't necessarily need texturing beyond that and probably shouldn't have heavy texturing) as well as a 1x1x1.

Goal is for something like this that snaps the way it should: https://imgur.com/mCvfQWa

The last piece is once of those angled ramps they have in settlement objects expanded, also institute white, x2 size, with snaps and collision. something like this: https://imgur.com/RaHcysN

It's not mandatory but for an overachiever it would be super awesome if they could snap at every normal foundation sized interval and a black set would be nice (important that neither set is overly reflective of light). This will save me building unnecessary stacks to determine exact line ups when building large objects. Obviously the objects have to be sorted into menus or have their own, would prefer they get stuffed into structures either way.

The goal is to have large single pieces rather than tons of individual objects for large builds that will tank a frame rate and cause visual glitches like this: https://imgur.com/N80rnxz

(I assure you I'm running a 1080ti and 64g ram with an i7, the problem is I cram too much junk in my giant city so it gets very sad and this would drastically reduce the number of objects)

I'm not sure of the exact memory saved, but I know the amount of objects rendered goes down drastically and less texture and number of objects means less to process overall.

I'd like for the finished project to be uploaded to nexus for others to use if they desire, also so I can just use it to DL. Not looking to spend a ton of money but I assume it's likely easy cash for someone that wants it (was thinking 20 USD but willing to negotiate) that already has the skills. I don't know if this is precisely reasonable, but they are just boxes and snap points not some huge detailed animation stuff, I'm guessing someone that knows what they are doing can probably knock it out in an hour, but that could be wrong.

I'd rather just pay to have it and not fuss, preferably with paypal. Would prefer to pay once you have a screen shot(s) and can upload same day and preferably someone with a couple mods under their belt so i don't have to worry the end result is janky and doesn't work like it should, but that's not a requirement.

I'll check back here but if you're certain you want first crack at the job, you can contact me pretty quick here: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100004527559126

Paying a mod author to create a mod is against the Nexus Mods Terms of Service. I would suggest you contact a moderator or staff member for more information

Thanks.

If I mod sees this please feel free to lock/close if necessary. How might I go about finding a way to request someone that I'm inclined to "tip" for a specific mod I've just been especially wanting?

Paying mod authors to create a mod can easily get them into trouble with Bethesda, which is one reason why such things are banned here. So you are going to have to look elsewhere to find a mod author who might be willing to take that risk.

I believe I'm able to donate to patreons which are all over the site, yes?

One can even donate anonymously should someone be inspired to make such a mod.

Maybe I'm wrong but I believe what that means is that I can't have an explicit "for hire" contract. Even if someone made that mod at my request and someone "donated to it" that isn't a for hire contract, even if the person donating was a bethesda employee trying to troll people by requesting mods. The mod author has plausible deniability as long as they don't explicitly demand payment in that regard, and an attempt to do so would actually make them liable if there were any damages suffered from harrasing a mod author that never demanded payment.

I suppose it's easier to say "I would be highly inclined to donate to such a brilliant mod author that managed to make such a mod". Being inclined to donate isn't a payment schema.

That said, not trying to get anyone in trouble or unknowingly break the rules of the forum... I joined like... a million years ago, I'm a bit rusty on the TOS so thank you for the reminder.

I don't understand why. What's wrong with allowing a modmaker to earn some money.

Because Bethesda explicitly forbids mod authors from making money for developing a mod or selling mods when they license us the Creation Kit, that's why.

Yes, something along those lines would, hypothetically, provide the needed plausible deniability, though it would be a rather thin smokescreen.
