TranscendentWings
I noticed that, in the trailer, the Player is supposed to be really powerful because he could use the "Voice." BUT then I saw the game and realized that the voice is only a perk to the character, not a real asset. So, I got an idea: what if the voice worked like energy shields in halo. What if, as you used the voice, the meter would go down based upon the cost of the power and didn't regenerate in combat. Every level up, your voice meter would get bigger based upon your choice of upgrade (configurable), so that a high level dovahkiin feels stronger/more skilled at shouting. I REALLY want to have an "argument" with a dragon--which wasn't not a practically way to actually fight a dragon in Vanilla. For example:Fus De Rah cost: 30/50/70 Your meter at level 1: 100You could shout 3 times with one word, twice with 2 words, and once with 3 words. After the combat your meter would regenerate over 20-30 seconds. Then, rework the blessing of Talos to allow shout cooldown DURING combat and rework the effect "Fortify Shout" to decrease the cost of abilities (capping at somewhere around 50%).
