Nole
Greetings fellow mages, arch-mages, spellswords and general spell fizzers. My self im a level 20 wizard, currently trying to understand the magic in the realms, the problem however is that everytime I ask a question about were magic in morrowind head from I just don't seem to get a clear respond. I have searched most books in and around the morrowind temples but nobody seems to relay to were/who/what magic in morrowind came from, who discovered it etc. does someone realy know?//Nole
Dilvish
The eight planets are the eight gods and made of magic. Nirn is the mortal plane and made of both matter and magic. It was created in the Dawn Era from the god planets and by the persuasion of Lorkhan. This creation upset the cosmic balance and Nirn became an Arena of contest between gods, daedra, men, mer, and beasts. Who discovered the seas? How did the mountains arise? Magic is older than any questions.
Alexander the Great
Is this in game information, because it sounds to me that it is a personal view from a certain learning standpoint. If it is in the Morrowind, then will you tell me where you found it for it sounds quite interesting to me.
Dilvish
There are many creation myths in Tamriel. Each race and culture has one or more. Inhabitants of Nirn often mix and match these different legends to arrive at their personal views. The myths are hazy and subject to differing interpretations. Faith is more powerful than logic and some of the gods are liars. The Imperial Library and The Elder Scrolls Forums sites have good information on lore. Game books like The Annotated Anuad and On Oblivion have more.
Untouchable1
www.uesp.net ^^^^^^^^^This guy knows EVERYTHING about Tamriel lore and the like. This site is quite easily my pick for the most vast and accurate pool of knowledge on TES history.
Eiade
Well... I've been there.. but it's not nearly as good and complete as The Imperial Library. This site is awesome. So much better than uesp.net.
