teddybearman
Alright, I've made a complete and total logic failure and made some changes and made the corresponding backups in the wrong order. I made an exterior cell world cell that I planned on connecting to my level after I remapped and renavmeshed it. But that exterior cell isn't working at all, I've tried to remove my changes to it via the method suggested here: http://www.bethsoft.com/bgsforums/index.php?showtopic=928208 but that just made the problem worse, and the geck started crashing any time I went near the exterior cell. All of my interior cells are intact and can be loaded without crashing, but I have no idea how to get them out and into an otherwise fresh esp. Can anyone help? I'm actually not sure how much it will help, since I don't know exactly what to look for, but if you use FO3Edit or the FOMM Plugin Editor then you can delete the offending entries. I believe the entries will be under World > Group or something like that. Maybe someone else can elaborate because I don't have much experience in modding Fallout 3 landscape yet. teddybearman
Thank you, I'm going to give those both a try. Fortunately I have FOMM already so it might be a place to start.
teddybearman
I used FO3Edit and oh that worked like a charm. It shows you what you need to see much better than that details thingy in the GECK. Deleted all the worldspace stuff and other cells that mysteriously had been edited. (Somehow when I deleted my changes in the details portion of the GECK, instead of deleted them the items were moved into the Vault 101 interior and started generating masterfile errors; don't even ask me how because I didn't even load the Vault101 interior cell in the geck) Thank you sir, you have saved my sanity; and my wrist from having to go through that nasty navmeshing I spent most of the day doing all over again.
