Weapon Blood Visual Glitch

Hello,

 

I am experiencing a fairly small but rather annoying visual glitch which only occurs in certain places

What happens is that the blood on my weapons, especially axes, either flickers heavily or is completely white (when it is snowing heavily).

This occurs most heavily near Windhelm, also near Markarth but for instance not in Dawnstar. I have already unistalled all the mods that

I am using and ran the game that way, but the issue persisted to arise. Also my drivers and such are all up to date.

Does anyone have any hint or tips as to the nature of this issue and how it may be resolved.

1) Are you using any custom shaders, including those in Frostfall and Wet and Cold?

2) Do you have enhanced blood textures installed?

3) Do you have any mods that screw with blood and/or shaders installed?

4) Do you run an ENB? If so, which one?

 

Truthfully, this sounds like a shader issue to me, maybe the blood "catching" too much light, or a "snow on the player" shader acting up.

If I were you, I would try doing a check of the above and disabling them, then see if you can recreate the blood being white and flickering.

 

If not, someone else may know better than me.

The related mods I am using are:

 

- RCRN v36 HDR - Your AllinOne Lighting and Immersion mod

- Enhanced Lights and FX

- Enhanced Blood Textures

- Realistic Water Textures and Terrain

- Ultimate HD Fire spells

 

Thing is I already tried to remove them all and see when the issue would dissapear, it didn't however.

Still I think you're probably right, and I'll see if I can't give it another go.

 

Is there anyone who knows what I can do, maybe in skyrimprefs or something?

Seeing as the issue persisted even without mods.
