Textures lost

I made some alterations to the textures in one of the Eshme nif files using Gmax import/export and NifSkope, and appear to have borked the game.

 

File: (Oblivion\Data\meshes\clothes\Eshme\Longdresses\f\DarkMageRobe.nif),

 

Textures are missing all over the place (see pics, uploaded twice, sorry :confused: ) including the loading screens.

 

This was the only file I messed with. Restoring the backed-up original file doesn't fix it, nor does disabling the Eshme bodies mod.

 

I can re-install the game if absolutely necessary, but suggestions on what could cause this and how to fix it without going to that extreme would be welcome.

 

 

UPDATE: I'm guessing this is an Archiveinvalidation.txt screw-up, but I haven't chased it down yet..
