Stability issues in Skyrim

'fArmorScalingFactor' is the precentage of damage reduced per armour point (decreasing it reduces the percentage of damage reduced by each armour rating point), so it won't raise the maximum cap on armour rating. That variable is governed by 'MaxArmorRating.'

So, lowering the fArmorScalingFactor means I get less damage reduction by each point of armour rating. That way I need more points to get 80% armor reduction.

Vanilla:

  • 1 point of armor rating = 0.12% damage reduction
  • 567 points of armor rating = 80 % Damage reduction

How I want it to be:

  • about 2000 points of armor rating = 80% damage reduction
  • 1 point of armor rating = 0.03% damage reduction?

My goal is having to get about 2000 armor rating for 80% damage reduction. The "80% damage reduction" part is more than good enough. I'm not really aiming to get like 90% damage reduction or more. Just make it harder to reach 80% damage reduction.

I changed my load order again quite a bit.

I found some very nice mods I'm wanting to try out:

  • Skyrim Project Optimization (a new mod, for a better performance)
  • Babettes Feast (more cooking possibilities)
  • Dragon Combat Overhaul (a rather new, but very promising mod)
  • Immersive Potions (no more spamming potions in combat)
  • Mighty Magick (a magic overhaul which looks awesome) (+ a hardcore enchanting optional module)
  • Some mods suggested by Erkeil, which work well with ERSO:
    • Treebalance H Armor, L Armor, Speech, Smithing
    • The Choice is yours
    • Lockpicking Overhaul
    • Duel - Combat Realism
    • Run For Your Lives + When Vampires Attack
  • Some lightweight tweaks and mods from STEP

I removed some mods for compatibility reasons:

  • ERSO 9.2 Radiance (increased spawns + script)
  • ERSO 10 + 10.2 Adventurers and Travellers (increased spawns + scripts)
  • ERSO 22 Necromancy (conflicts with Mighty Magick)
  • ERSO 25 Enchanting Changes (conflicts with Mighty Magick)

My current load order:

I think only ERSO 11 and 12 increase spawns. If i should get a CTD related to them, I can just removed them as they don't use any scripts.

I plan on using 2 followers max (Vilja/Serana + 1 Vanilla follower) so that shouldn't be too taxing I hope.

Mighty Magick and Dragon Combat Overhaul are quite heavy though, but I'm willing to try them out and see how it goes.

As far as difficulty and immersion, I'm quite satisfied with these mods. So I'm finally ready for my new playthrough.

Should this load order be good to try out or too heavy memory wise?

Kind regards

Andre

Update: So today I started playing using my new setup.

I started the game, and I received many popups from several mods I installed. I could just click them away though, so no real issues with that whatsoever.

So, I viewed the carriage scene and the scene where Alduin destroys Helgen. I ran in the tower and jumped down in the inn underneath and died of fall damage (ERSO 26). Quite immersive though. Something I like.

When I went inside the keep, the NPCs were pretty strong so I died a few times (Master difficulty). I noticed though that the NPCs weren't wearing any of the Immersive weapon or armours. But I went straight on and completed the tutorial.

Outside I went to the closest bandit camp and I saw the bandits there were wearing Immersive Weapons and Armours. (Great! )

But then another problem rised: As soon as I approched the camp, the bandits gave a warning: "I'm warning you. Back off!" I went inside and suddenly the bandits started to run as if they were near dead. (They were saying "I yield, I yield!" "I cannot best you!") Except they were at full health. Is this because of Duel - Combat Realism?

Edit: I tried again disabling the following mods 1 at a time:

  • ERSO 02
  • ERSO 08
  • ERSO 09
  • Duel - Combat Realism
  • PISE AI Tweaks only
  • Run for your lives
  • When Vampires Attack

The "yielding at full health" is still there.

I also tried fighting other bandits in the area. They didn't react this way. It seems to only affect Bandits or other NPCs that give a warning. ("I'm warning you. Back off!", etc)

Any clues?
