Reason:

Piracy

Admitting to using a pirate copy of Skyrim Special Edition and seeking help for it

Thread/topic (started 06 August 2020, 08:15 PM): Can't launch SKSE from MO2, will launch from .exe

I installed MO2 and SKSE64. Created a desektop shortcut (from the skyrim.exe location folder) and am able to launch and run Skyrim, with SKSE being active from that shortcut. When I try to do it from MO2 I get the standard black box popup (looks like an old Dos box), and then it disappears, MO2 locks for about 3 seconds, and then goes back to as if the game was closed.

Should note: trying the Skyrim SSE or the Skyrim launchers from MO2 also do nothing.

I only tried to install SkyUI, but it does not work with or without it installed.
