[WIP] Militia Manager

I am learning GECK at the moment but I intend to develop the following mod. Due to its size and complexity I am open to forming a small team to undertake this project. Below is a basic description of the mod’s idea and features. I will update this threat as I dig deeper into the GECK see what can and cant be done.

Idea:

The player will be able to found and run their own wasteland militia; hireling npc’s to scavenge the wastes for loot, territory, and slaves/recruits. The player will be responsible for both paying, outfitting, and training his men/woman to achieve his goals.

 

Owning a militia sets the layer on the path of conquering or liberating the wasteland so he/she must fight over territory for better loot and resources to maintain his militia. Fend off raids and mutant attacks while providing protection to cities that the player deems allies. Basic resources must be secured such as water and food supplies to increase the players militia. Special locations such as super duper mart, roboco headquarters, would be key locations for militia to raid and scourer for loot to increase the faction’s firepower.

 

Trade caravans can be made by player (begin empty) to be filed by NPC’s loot and players loot, and trade with cities and supply players men. Many npc’s will now buy and trade with theses caravans for necessities, better weapons and amour as well as food and drink. Theses cravens will be prime targets for enemy factions and raiders.

 

Features:

*Player can hire roaming NPC’s as wasteland wanderers.

*Npc’s will return to players main base an outfit in amour and weapons provided by the player (storage room is filled by player, npc’s equipment is taken from storeroom)

*Npc’s free roam the wastes collecting items, (clutter, amour, weapons) and returns to base.

*Npc’s fight turf wars over locations. Wars with ghouls, super mutants, brotherhood, outcasts, enclave, etc.

*Npc’s grow stronger through combat and completion of their personal missions.

*Ability to hire/create personal trade cravens and supple cravens to supply your men and trade with city’s. (Passive money generation based on inventory you npc’s create by looting and sales of said items products)

*Npc’s are not companions they act independently and do not need the PC to direct or lead them around.

i like it! But, what area do you plan on having it based out of? and do you plan on making other factions that you can potentially ally/conflict with? Besides the raiders and slavers, or maybe even the BoS and outcasts. But so far it sounds like an awesome idea!
