k1ngk1LL
Oops, I meant "Movable static as NPC?" Hey, I asked this one over at the offical forums...Is it possible/how do I simply move the mesh\texture (i.e. all the "visual" files) of a Movable Static under a new NPC heading? Btw, it needs to be capable of combat, dialogue, etc. all that good stuff. The way I see it, this could be very complicated, or very simple. Either way, I'm gungho for what I'm attempting so fire away even if it is a pain. I'd like to not give away exactly what I'm doing as this is the experimental stages of a quest. If you happen to need more detail about the object in question, just ask and I'll see what I can do. Thank you very much in advance. happy modding And the only answer so far is this... If I'm understanding it right you want a NPC that looks like a Movable Static. That will be troublesome. NPCs are build completely different, they have a skeleton to control animations, a static does not. I see now that this WILL be at least a somewhat complicated task, but I'm totally fine with that. Can anyone here give me more specific help? It seems this should be possible with a little (or a lot) of focused thought and effort. Oh, and this. ME:There wouldn't happen to be a way to export some suitable skeleton along with the object, put them together, make some adjustments, and put them back, would there? I'm sure there'd be some issues with the dismemberment skeleton, but I can deal with that.
