Tilc Posted January 29, 2013 Share Posted January 29, 2013 (edited) I downloaded some mods and installed them {mostly clothing} and put them all in one box or put all the original modders containers in a room {doc Michaels house or modders provided room} with the all weapons and ammo boxes using the geck so they all register and saved the edit but then i reopened the edit and only the edits i made diapered except the all weap ammo boxes.Can anyone help me. I also reinstalled New Vegas the Geck and the FOMM 3 times.Also my laptop stopped working so I switch to this desktop and Im resetting up my game and never had these problems before. Xaranth Posted January 29, 2013 Share Posted January 29, 2013 If you're using Vindows Vista or Windows 7, and you didn't change your game's install path, this is likely a UAC issue; it sounds like your account doesn't have default write access to the FNV Data Folder. Tilc Posted January 31, 2013 Author Share Posted January 31, 2013 its weird the mods work fine and say i make an edit say put the all weap box in say doc Micheals house it with say a box with mod items only the weap stays and to mod boxes disaperd. and it was weird i got the Tardis moving house mod [i thought was bad a**, don't know if profanity is allowed on this site] and put some mod boxes in it with the all weap and all ammo boxes and linked the unused door of to tardis to the the bathroom door at doc Micheal house started the game and the door was linked so i went threw and the tardis insides ware gone and all that remand was the linked door which became unusable and the all weap ammo boxes and i couldn't move. so instead of trying to move all mods to one box or one room with one geck edit, so i made one for each mod and it didn't showed up but the origanol mod placements wear still There. but wen i loaded the lets say the master edit all the mods wear gone. sorry if thats hard to read or understand let me know and i will go into more depth. blove Posted January 31, 2013 Share Posted January 31, 2013 GECK does not like saving plugins as masters to plugins. blove Posted February 3, 2013 Share Posted February 3, 2013 You made a plugin that adds all of the items from armor1.esp, armor2.esp, and armor3.esp to a container that you created called yourbox.esp in the GECK? Yes but I loaded all plugins and then just the one I made and tried to find it in the game and it was not there.
