NifScope won't open

I had been using Nifscope quite a bit in the past to change textures and alter some meshes, but for some reason after almost a month of inactivity Nifscope doesn't want to open. I double-click it to start but nothing ever comes up. I have even tried using task manager to force it to start.

 

Should I reinstall Nifscope or is something affecting it that is causing this?

Are launching via the executable *win,linux,mac* rather than a shortcut or opening a .nif file. I presume you are on win because of the task manager. Sometimes the association mapping on windows can be a bit finicky, which is a general problem. Even when you select a program to run with a specific file type it will not set it correctly.

 

I would suggest downloading the latest version 1.1.3. I upgraded myself today on this machine and it took less than 20 seconds to re-install, next, next, next, next, finish. Sure who reads destructions anyways :P

Yeah, that didn't work. I am having the same issue. Was using it consistently for a long time and BAM now it won't run.
