Then you should be able to play without problems

Unless of course you've got a bunch of Hi-Res Texture packs your not sharing with us.

Edit

-You may have to start a brand new character

-You may have to cut back on textures

-You may have ot cut back on scripted mods

Alright I will try getting rid of minty, Populated and Birds. I don't normally face crashes indoors it's normally an outdoor event. And as far as Hi-Res textures I would like to but seeing as it's having issues purely with just those minor things don't want to push my luck even further.

And if you don't mind could you elaborate on why those would be such a conflict even with the compatibly patch I have. I'm still pretty new to modding in general and I'm trying to learn but the curve seems to be a bit steeper than I first thought.

If you are not just CTDing nearby trees or after fast travel, but everywhere else, then there are probably several different issues compounding your CTDs (rather than, say, caused by one mod). So gamefever's suggestion that you trim your load order is so that you are not CTDing everywhere, which would make tracking the causes nearly impossible. But if you are going to start yanking out mods from your load order, then the sensible thing would be to start a new game after that, because some of the mods yanked will leave orphan junk in your current save game and that might cause more problems if you continue with those save games.

If you are not experiencing performance issues in cities or CTDing in cities, you can keep 'Populated Cities.' If the CTDs are outdoors only, then you should consider removing mods that add more stuff to or edits the worldspace (Birds of Skyrim). You can also consider switching to low res versions or low intensity versions of mods that you use if they are available (e.g '101BUGS', 'WATER'). Your rig may simply not be able to handle it.

Just remember to do some stress testing before you save with a new mod, and make sure the load order is well maintained (esp's cleaned as needed, no esp's unrecognized by BOSS loading after the compatibility patches, update fix patch for those that require it, etc.) before you start a new game. Once you have a stable load order, avoid messing with it, other than to update. It's hard to not want to add new mods. The vanilla game was designed for console kids and mods are just the only thing that makes the game worth replaying. But if you start adding too many mods that stress your rig or the game engine beyond its limits, remove them (leaving orphan junk), etc., you'll likely again experience the same issues you are experiencing now. I'm no expert. However you seem to be running a lot of Mods that could conflict because they're modifying the same things at once.

You have multiple environment mods and follower mods. If you run more than one that controls the same things ergo lights, weather, followers, texture replacers etc.. there is bound to be a fight. If the game engine cant decide on a winner it just shuts down. If you have skyrim bigger trees then you don't need any other bigger trees. You have a mesh improvement mod and enhanced lighting that conflict. Use one or the other. Just one follower .mod at a time. Too many patch fix mods can create more problems than they fix. Running into these problems is just a way to learn. Make a complete backup of your game files. Game saves EVERYTHING. Place it aside. You could always reinstall a fresh copy of the game and then try your mods one at a time till you know you have it right. Meanwhile read the readme files with the mods you install they tell you of conflicting mods.

Be sure to part ways with all your followers before unticking any follower mods then save your game. Good luck to you.

I'm not too sure if anyone is still watching this thread but still trying to get a fully stable game. Got rid of some mods, making my list smaller, and that helped quite a bit but I'm still hitting some issues.

I can link up my boss logs also if you would like. I just keep having these crashes happen around the area of Whiterun. Not sure why but there seems to be a barrier of CTD's around that area where if I stray too far north or east I crash. If need be I can try and work out a "map" of sorts for my boundaries.

Uninstall SkyTest and see if it stabilizes your game. When I had SkyTest in my load order, it was responsible for 99% of the outdoor CTDs.

Damn was really enjoying the variety and challenge of it, but since you seem to be the Mod Guru I will follow your advice. Would you happen to have any other suggestions for mods like it that add more advanced creatures to the game?

'Guru'? Me? Har har...

After I uninstalled SkyTest, I dropped a note in the mod's comment section just to let him know how much I liked that mod. I checked the plugin in TES5Edit before uninstalling and the only problem I found was a null property for one of the AI packages (the tiny spider between Helgan and Riverwood, but this was quite a while ago and likely a previous version of the mod). As far as I could tell the modder wasn't making any mistakes but as the author had noted in his mod description, it just doesn't work well with a large load order because the game engine simply can't maintain stability while rendering all those worldspace spawns and scripts compounded with other mods.

Your load order looks really tight now. Other than Frostfall, Wet n' Cold, Realistic Diseases, Footprints (continually updating scripts, but by modders who know what they are doing). Might compress Deadly Dragon's textures from 4096 to something lower with 'Texture Optimizer' if you have issues during dragon fights. You should be OK after starting a new game (unless, on the off chance, you have some mesh/HD texture replacers not listed here that end up causing weird issues). Maybe an occasional CTD once in a blue moon (which even vanilla Skyrim can't avoid), but otherwise good to go.

You can do some testing to alleviate any concerns before you invest in a save game. The first is the 'running test' that's been used since Oblivion to test the stability of the worldspace. Run from Riverwood to Whiterun without saving, then run from Whiterun to Windhelm or another city. Ideally, you should run from one end of the worldmap to another without saving and not CTD to make sure, but given that this may not be possible even with vanilla Skyrim....

The other test is for scripts handling and AI rendering. Go to a 'hot spot' area like the Riften Marketplace during the day when it's densely populated, with fog, heavy shadow renderings, etc. (Whiterun market is another good spot), and deliberately try to cause freezes and crash your game...run around, bump into people, go into god mode and start attacking random pedestrians, cast spells, let guards chase you around (hell, do it when it's raining since you are using 'Wet n' Cold'). If after 10 minutes of messing around, you haven't experienced anything more serious than some micro-freezes, then you have a reasonably stable setup.
