morkof
i can't make lips shine for some reason.. tried installing all kinds of mods for face and lips - no luck.. and i am not sure if it's just the lips that are lacking shine, i don't think anything has a shiny reflection.. maybe my graphics are not set right? i have the graphics set on High with no AA or any post enhancements.. http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/images/5782005-1359561375.jpg

Georgiegril
I am not sure this will work, but have you tried uninstalling and then reinstalling pretty lips? They do seem shinier in that mod than what you have. I wonder if it's possible that the files from that mod were overwritten by another. If that were the case, reinstalling might fix it. If you wanted to rule out your graphics settings as the culprit, you might try installing (temporarily, unless you ended up liking it) Coverwomen look #1--if the shine doesn't show up with that, then maybe it is a graphics setting thing. Georgiegril
Definitely dewy rather than sparkly. So I am inclined to suspect, as you do, that it could be related to a graphics setting. Can you list your graphics settings, especially any changes you made in nvidiaInspector ( or the radeon graphics interface) and any lighting/graphics type mods? I have to sign off for a bit but I'll be back later this evening. In the meantime, maybe someone else will have a look and snap to your solution. morkof
.. I have to sign off for a bit but I'll be back later this evening. .. no problem, i am having major connection problems anyway and no rushing or anything.. been wrestling this on my own for a week.. really appreciate your help! as far as graphic settings i use AMD Catalyst and i tried a couple of versions already.. the cool think about it is that you can see any changes you make directly without having to relaunch any of the apps. i tried all possible settings there - from using all "Use Application Settings" mode for everything to specifying settings for the Catalyst - no visual change on the shine there.. in the skyrim launcher settings under Details i have: texture q - highradial blur q - mediumshadow detail - lowdecal quantity - none [_] FXAA (unchecked) Water(all unchecked) i will try to play with those reflections and the fxaa now, see if it works.. nuska
Low shadow detail looks like a probable culprit to me, actually. I figure it might also affect specular rendering.
gamefever
Have you tried altering them in the CS.Generate some new FaceGen Textures?I mean your going to want to try and change the colors right.Pop open the CS, find the NPC.Add your color, facetints, extra's.Select the charcters name, hit ctrl-F4 it'll save the Face-GenThen save your new ESP and checkmark that That's pretty much how they make npc's prettier.
