moonraker481
As I can see HD is the only mod out there is any one going to try to make cloth's or weapon's ?
Tskales
I think once a modder creates a modding tool you will see alternate skins, costumes etc. I'm not expecting anything as advanced as GTA 5 or Skyrim, though. A lot could depend on the popularity of the game as well. Reviews have been mixed so far meaning that potential modders could be holding off buying it or won't be buying it at all. moonraker481
Thanks if I was as smart as some of the people out there I would .
AlexPo21
Reviews have been mixed so far meaning that potential modders could be holding off buying it or won't be buying it at all. Exactly, I'm eager to try modding this game, just not worth the price right now (currently double to cost of what I paid on ps4 for half the performance)
bleeder4
There already is a modding tool isn't there? https://github.com/Jayveer/Decima-Explorer Seems to allow you to unpack game files, edit them and then repack them again.
Deleted17392654User
I dunno how high of a demand, or enthusiasm there is for HZD modding. Why spend so much time modding textures on a game that either under performs, or crashes for an enormous slice of the user base?Even though nearly half a million people have bought the PC version, Steam analytics are showing that not many people are playing the game anymore. Sony and Virtuos really s*** the bed on this port. As an aside, the ENTIRETY of the game's logic and engine exists in a 150MB DLL file called "fullgame.dll". I spent some time analyzing the DLL in a debugger, observing the insane amount of exports, and have come to the conclusion that creating gameplay customization and quality-of-life mods are going to be only possible for very, very talented modders. And that stacking such mods will be probably impossible. Edited August 30, 2020 by Guest

psycho69yeah
Damn, would sooooo have wished for a nice and proper jungle mini bikini loincloth outfit for our pretty Aloy ... ;-)Strange that in some games everything can be modded, but here, nearly nothing substantial... Katy3211
maybe modders need some tools like unpacking?
Tskales
I think the abysmal job done by whichever company it was that Guerrilla Games outsourced the PC port to has killed off most of the interest in this game. I now don't expect any mods beyond reshades or save editors.
