How do you feel about dialogue without voice in fallout?

Hi.

 

I decided to make this poll to get some insight on what people would or wouldn't like to see in fallout.

I know there are tastes for everything (and thats exactly why i made this poll, if every1 had the same taste this wouldnt be needed right? ;)).

Anyway Im hoping that this will help me, and hopefully other modders, in planning the better way to add stuff to the game.

So if u happen to stop by, pls aswer the poll or leave a comment if you think you can't answer this question with the poll options.

poll's broken. I would rather not have the voice acting. If it isn't up to the quality of the original it kind of ruins it, and that's tough to do without an actual studio. It also adds alot of size to the files and not everyone wants to bother with it.

a nice polishing touch on a mod but not by any means necessary...the end of the modding process would be the only time I would bother with it..

While voice-acting with studio quality is impossible to come by as long as it's tastefully done that's what I would prefer. HOWEVER, as long as sufficient steps are taken (silent files so the dialogue doesn't move too fast to read) then I honestly don't mind. I've played enough RPGs and MMOs where I have to sit there reading lines upon lines upon lines of dialogue so I'm used to it.

Anyway. Thx for the opinions. From what i can see so far (3 out of 3) most people wouldn't mind voiceless dialogue.

as the others said the quality of the recordings is mostly kinda crappy compared to vanilla games... but those with access to good equipment like rock bands usually spend their time playing with chicas instead of modding fallout :P

Don't need voice as long as the add on is fun, I read faster then they talk anywho.

Great. Guess there should be enough people to at least make it worh, working on quests that actually involve npc's.
