kryptopyr
I have several mods that I'm currently working on, and they could really benefit from some voiced dialogue. There are existing dialogue lines that would work well for my purpose, but they need to be cropped and/or edited so that they will fit the new context. I have absolutely no idea how to edit sound or voice files. If anyone has experience with this and would be willing to help, please let me know. You can use a program like audacity to cut them or erase parts.
kryptopyr
I may eventually try to learn if I really have to, but I would much rather find someone who already knows what they're doing. It's a matter of comparative advantage and efficiencies. I can accomplish much more by focusing on what I know how to do and can do well and finding someone who knows how to do this and can do it well. I'm aware of the program Audacity, but I assume I also have to convert the .fuz file into another format first, then when I'm done editing, I have to convert it back. This probably requires a different program, correct? I'm just not sure what the process is, I don't have any of the necessary tools or software, and if I'm going to do it myself, it will probably take me a hell of a lot of time to wade through all the information and figure it all out as I've never messed with sound files of any type or format before.
