Getting the best out of Skyrim

First off I'll start by posting my computer spec's.

 

Window's 8 64

i7-3770k 3.50GHz

12GB Ram

NVIDIA Geforce GTX 680

 

Now with that said my first warning is if you try the following mods and you have a computer of equal or lower specs, I do get a little lag in some area's if I keep my view distance maxed but keeping them around 50-75% keeps it running smoothly.

 

The following mods have been chosen for Quality, Usefulness, and Stability all have been in use for at least ten hour's with no issues unless noted otherwise.

 

Please do remember not all dependences/patch's are listed so if you use this list make sure to carefully read all mods (which you should do anyways.).

 

For UI and as with most people I use the following.

 

- SkyUI

- High Quality 3D Map

- A Quality World Map - With Roads

- Categorized Favorite Menu Config (Skyrim Redone version)

 

For a all over general replacer I use the following, however I do quiet a bit of overwriting before this list is done.

 

- Bleak ENB (personal choice feel free to use or not use which ever you like best)

- Skyrim HD - 2K Textures (all four)

 

For more specific changes I use the following, however a lot of these overwrite things from each other and are subject to personal opinion on which and what is better. Also this should be the exact order I installed them in.

 

- Lush Trees

- Lush Grass

- Grass and Grass (this is why I had to reduce view distance in grassy area's, skip if your worried about lag.)

- Intricate Spider Webs

- TreesHD_skyrim_Variation

- Vibrant Auroras

- W.A.T.E.R

- Project Reality - Climates of Tamriel - Final edition (and DG patch)

- Natural Skyrim Rain

- Real Ice

- Visible Windows

- Enhanced Night Skyrim - High Stars

- Enhanced Night Skyrim - Color Galaxy

- Better Dynamic Snow

- Weapons and Armor Fixes

- Wet and Cold

- Revamped Exterior Fog

- Windmills resized (that really bothered me for some reason)

 

Sound is rather tricky as they often come in packs which overwrite one another, are subject to the oddest bugs, but most of all the taste of people is wide and varied.

 

- Fantasy Music Overhaul

- Improved Combat Sounds

- Heart of the Beast Werewolf Sound and Texture Overhaul

 

I considered posting my character/body/ect mods down but I figured that was a bit to subjective *cough* to complex *cough*.

 

And finally overhauls and combat (warning hard combat if all are used, especially for mage characters.).

 

- Skyrim Redone

- Deadly Dragon's

- Duel - Combat realism

- WARZONES - Civil Unrest

- Frostfall - Hypothemia Camping Survival

- Apocalypse Spell Package

- Forgotten Magic

- ASIS (this has lead to some huge surprises when s NPC mage blows me away with a mod spell)

- UFO - Ultimate Follower Overhaul ( and DG patch)

 

Now that I've listed so many mods, I feel I should note with use of NMM and BOSS. I have had only two freak CTDs in thirty hour's of game play even with the dozens more mods besides these which I have active.

 

While I have tested many combo's, I feel this is the most stable and best looking however I am always looking for better which is why I started this topic please do post your own mod list, ideas, changes. And comments/question on this list.
