Thuellai
So while digging into the files in FONV I noticed Life Giver has a second and third spell effect that appear to grant another 30 HP apiece. So I homebrewed something up in FNVEdit and just want to make sure it should work, theoretically - I created a new ESP and added Lifegiver as an Override to it. I then changed Lifegiver in my mod to have 3 Ranks. Then under effects I have the original effect [TYPE: Ability, Rank 0, Priority 0 - DATA: Ability PerkLifeGiver1 which has a FormID of 00031D88]. Then I added two more effects pointing to the dummied-out versions of Lifegiver, each time increasing the Rank variable by 1 and the Ability effect with the proper new version [so the second effect is flagged as Rank: 1 and has the Ability PerkLifeGiver2, FormID 00031D8A for the curious] Will this allow players to take the new ranks, and give them the appropriate effects [namely a total of +60 health at Rank 2, and +90 at Rank 3?] I checked, PerkLifeGiver2 is identical to PerkLifeGiver1 except for the effect's magnitude being 60 instead of 30. Xaranth
It ought to... but why not just load the game and test it? :)
Thuellai
I'm not sure how to give myself multiple levels of a perk, but you're probably right. TIME FOR BUG-TESTING, TO THE CONSOLE. EDIT: No seriously how do I give myself ranks of a multi-rank perk, do I just addperk more than once? EDIT: Actually it turns out that's exactly how it works, and as a matter of fact, it works great! I had 180 HP to start - after one addperk, I had Life Giver (1) and 210 HP. After two, I had Life Giver (2) and 240 HP, and after Life Giver (3), I had 270 HP! Given it uses all vanilla assets, it's a really easy ESP, too. Should I pack it up and release it, or look at other unused entries and see what I can make of them? Edited January 31, 2013 by Thuellai

Thuellai
Awesome! Looks like what I have here is a fully functional, easy-to-merge ESP with a fairly straight-forward effect - it just puts back content that wasn't included in the base game for whatever reason. No weirdness [i was afraid that Lifegiver 2 might give 30+60 instead of just 60, but nope, works fine], just, I suppose, a potential balance concern - but Life Giver isn't THAT powerful, it only gives you 10 HP more than taking another point in Endurance and without Endurance's other benefits. EDIT: And now it's uploaded! Enjoy Life Giver the way it's meant to be! I can't imagine there being any conflicts unless another mod specifically alters that perk. Thuellai
Found data in the files for Iron Fist along with a few of the old skill perks from FO3. Haven't tested the skill Perks, but I DID put Iron Fist back... And it's hilarious. One rank is worth the same base damage as having 100 Unarmed skill, more or less, so adding all three... you can do some really crazy unarmed damage. Which means hilarious Pushy uppercuts! Are you ready to rocket guys to the moon? I know I am!
