LucidLady
Well damn.Alright, some basic questions. Are you running the game through F4SE? (i know you said you don't have any mods installed right now, just gotta ask)How many saves are in your save folder? (i know you said you just reinstalled the game, so you probably don't have any in there)Having saves for a bunch of different characters can cause problems like this, so if you have that going on, delete/move them. How's your Memory Cache looking? Open task manager, go to the Performance tab at the top, click the Memory box to the left. Underneath the graphs, what does it say under "Cached"?If it's over 5gb, maybe clear it. I can give you a quick guide how to if you want. Also, have you touched the Fallout4.ini or Fallout4Custom.ini files? I know you HAVE to edit them to allow for mods to work at all, but have you edited them beyond that? Edited August 16, 2020 by LucidLady

But I havent touched the fallout ini's since i reinstalled but they should be the same since steam doesnt uninstall any fallout files from the documents. DubbyXI
I managed to solve it by going into my /Interface folder and deleting the contents inside, there was a couple pipboy files that steam did not replace when I validated game files so i felt that was the culprit, going to run some tests with mods installed
