This started happening after installing gameplay mods (I was following the STEP guide, and it didn't crash after finishing that), but it started crashing on exteriors after a minute of playing on an exterior cell. Already tried disabling Alternate Start, but it still crashes, even before Ralof begins Talking to me on the carriage. It looks like you may have already done this for some of the plugins (e.g. the DLC and patch esm's) because they don't show up with the 'need cleaning' message, and perhaps added some mods later that you forgot to check and clean. 2) CustomRaces.esp ActiveLunariRace.esp ActiveOrientalRace.esp ActiveTemptressVixen.esp Active It's recommended that you install only one custom race mod at a time. After all, you can only play one character at a time. It will also reduce the chance of lockups or CTDs in the showracemenu/character creation menu. 3) You should download Wrye Bash and generate a Bashed Patch which will merge the conflicting leveled list edits from the 'give more items to NPCs' mods you are using (e.g. immersive armour, Jaysus swords npc distribution plugin, etc.). 4) About the CTD's: How frequent are your CTDs? CTDing in the worldspace but never (or almost never) in interior cells is generally a 'symptom' of mods that add more spawns and spawn points to the worldspace, or continually updating scripts that only run in the worldspace, not playing well with the rest of the load order or stressing the limits of the engine. Usually mods like 'Warzones', 'SkyTest', weather mods, but you don't seem to be using any of those 'usual culprits' (although I don't recognize all the mods you are using--and there are many....). The culprits could be one of the mods not recognized by BOSS. The load order for those esp's will need to be set manually. Absolutely do not allow them to load at the end of your load order. The only reliable way to do this is to use TES5Edit and check the records of the esp's to see if they conflict with other esp's in your load order, then decide who should 'win.' You can then use the 'BOSS Userlist Manager' to set custom rules for the unrecognized esp's so their loading positions do not get reset every time you run BOSS. Many players skimp on this step even when they are aware of this, because it can too much of an aggravation if the list of unrecognized mods is long. This is downright a bad idea, because depending on if/number of/type of conflicts these esp's contain, it may basically nullify all previous attempts to stabilize the load order. 5) As a last resort, you might consider trimming the load order (I actually recommend you do a bit of that now, at least with the custom race mods, and some minor mods that do not contain scripts). It's difficult to maintain the long term stability of big load orders. Your rig may be powerful but the aging game engine can take only so much. Keep in mind that there is currently no way to truly 'clean save.' Uninstalled Skyrim mods will leave orphan data in your save games, and some stuff will not be removed even after a cell reset (like papyrus scripts). So starting a new game is advised if you remove a bunch of mods or mods containing continually updating scripts that cannot be stopped (as in the author hasn't noted specific uninstall instructions for the updating script, like a stopquest console command). I've uninstalled all custom races and tried to start a new game, and it still crashes shortly after ralof starts speaking to the "horse thief", and before the ctd's started while using the camping on the woods start form live another life alternate start, entering the helgen cave an exiting caused ctd, as well as just trying to go over to riverwood it crashed just a little further ahead from the place you get attacked by wolves In the end i think im gonna reinstall everything from scratch, so i think i better ask for which mods i should try to stay away from on the new install, and also, how do i clean the other mods that show dirty edits? is it the same procedure to clean the dlc master files? Since MO does not install mod contents directly into the game data folder, you'll never need to 'reinstall' the game just to clean the installation of mods. Cleaning esp and esm are the same process using TES5Edit. Apply filter for cleaning, remove duplicate to master entries, undelete/disable deleted references. Try to keep to the 'essentials', keep fix mods (like the USKP and DLC UP's) and mods you absolutely cannot play without. Get rid of the 'fluff' mods. Custom armour and weapon mods are ok but you will want to make sure you are not using the HD texture versions even if you have a powerful rig, or use something like 'Texture Optimzer' to compress the textures. marcheluis Posted February 3, 2013 Author Share Posted February 3, 2013 And so i return with a smaller load order, which i ordered using BOSS, merged leveled lists using Wyre Bash, lower resolution textures and cleaned mods (at least the ones indicated by BOSS as containing dirty edits) but i still get ctd's when loading a new cell (it seems like that on Papyrus.0.log), so here is my load order (64 items loaded) as seen in the BOSS log, my papyrus log and my hope for someone to help me figure this out...
