LE Enemy indicator

Hello,

 

In many first-person, military style combat games, when you get hit you get an indication of the direction from which the assault came.

 

In Skyrim my character grunts letting me know I am taking damage but then I have to spin around trying to figure out if the enemy is to my left, right, or directly behind me.

 

Is there already a mod, or could one be created, that adds an on-screen indicator of the direction of the threat similar to games like Call of Duty?
