Is it possible to rename saves but keep them under the SE character menus?

I know you can rename saves by using the command 'savegame [saveNameHere]'. However, this results in the save not being kept with the character saves in SE's organised menu.

 

Is there any way that you can change the name of the save but keep it under the character saves menu?

Might try renaming them in Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\Saves. I do not know if this will do what you want but it is worth a try.

You can also use "save <some savename>" from console

 

In any case, if you mean so they show up when you click "load", afaik, no. They *will show up in the load list when you first start the game, but not on subsequent uses of load. Other than that, use console "load <some savename>"

Thanks for your suggestion but I've played around with the save file names in documents in many different ways and nothing has worked so far :( It's a real shame
