DonFulano
Hey everyone! Took a bit of a break from Fallout 4 and modding, but I'm back now for another playthrough. I'm looking for just a simple mod that would allow me to have 2 followers (2 humans or dogmeat + human). For my current playthrough, I'm playing as Nora and was planning on using Dual Survivors to have Nate as a companion, but I also wanted the option to take on Nick or another companion as well. I've looked into a couple mods - Unlimited Companion Framework, Multiple Followers Overhaul, and Amazing Followers Tweaks - but these haven't been updated in a while, they conflict (potentially) with some other mods I have (Sim Settlements, Better Companions), and through reading the posts on these, they seem hit or miss when it comes to running into bugs with them. I was wondering if anyone knew of, or knew how to create, a "simple" mod that would just allow me to take on 1 additional follower. Thanks! SKKmods
Creating and supporting multiple simple actor followers is easy. Creating and supporting multiple complex RPG companions is difficult. Are you looking for multiple simple followers or complex companions ? The language is all mixed up.

I'm sorry I wasn't very clear - I think I mean I would like multiple RPG companions (in my use case, it would just be 1 additional) - like, two vanilla/DLC companions with their full dialogue/affinity functionality. I shouldn't say simple, when it most likely is not. The intent is to use the Dual Survivors mod to have Nate as a companion (with his RPG functionality) + a vanilla/DLC companion with their RPG functionalities Edited August 19, 2020 by DonFulano
Blinxys
Have been using AFT extensively / exclusively, does most of what you are looking for and a bit more,Remove Fmin Is all you need to get rid of face distortion issue(s) (the biggest prob AFT has). Only need to tweak/get used to its settings to match with most of better followers, and get more features, then you can do without that mod. You can bring back your spouse with AFT, and it is the best handling I've tested among those mods that give you that.all you need is Curie at the cryopod in 111, and sadly the console command,~ setstage xx04529e 30 (xx is your AFT load order number)(but it does work pretty seamlessly afterwards). lazloarcadia
Yep, AFT (Amazing Follower Tweaks) is literally one of the best mods on the nexus for handling not just companions, but adds a lot of other features when dealing with NPCs in general. For example if you see someone that is an npc you would like to make into a settler, but there is no option to do so (such as a random person added by a mod) you can now do so with AFT. You can also do the same thing to make those random folks now become followers, such as a random Minuteman that you pass while out in the world. Hit them with AFT and you now have a new follower. Granted they don't have much to say, but they are otherwise fully functional for combat and carrying your stuff. Get tired of them later? Convert them to a settler and station them at your settlement of preference.
