Caravan card game payout bug

For anyone unaware, winning a game of caravan results in you getting double what you should. Losing a game results in your bet (1/2 of the pot) being deducted from your caps as one would expect, however winning gives the whole pot to you, even though you never actually gave up any caps during the betting phase.

Cursory searches suggest this bug applies to other forms of gambling, though I haven't tested it—they shouldn't be as exploitable as caravan though.

I'm not the kind to use such an exploit, but I actually like playing caravan and would like to do so without either unbalancing the game economy, or having to open the console to remove money every time.

Does anyone know of a mod that fixes this?

The fix for this is included in IStewieAl's Tweaks.

 

You still need to enable it in the ini file that comes with the mod. I don't exactly know what it is called in the ini but I remember it being pretty descriptive.

Gotta say, I've been diving deep into Caravan lately, and it's been a blast... well, mostly. Just wanted to chime in and say I've noticed that payout bug too. It's a real buzzkill when you're hustling your way through a game and then bam, robbed of your rightful earnings. Ain't nobody got time for that, right?

But hey, glad to see I'm not the only one dealing with this hiccup. Misery loves company, huh? Anyway, here's hoping the devs catch wind of this and roll out a fix real soon. 'Cause let's face it, we're all in this caravan together, and ain't nobody wanna be stuck with a busted game.

Also, on a side note, anyone else here into spider solitaire? Just me? Alright, cool.
