Skyui not loading in-game

The mod is not loading in-game. Vortex says it's working, but it's not. I deleted the entire game, deleted all mods, reinstalled alternate life and skyui. I'm using SKSE64 2.0.19. Alternate life is working, Skyui is not. Why?

If you mean that the SkyUI MCM isn't showing up, as I recall, that was one of those mods that for whatever reason takes a while to show the MCM.

 

Try creating a new save after installing SKyUI, then exiting the game (entirely), then reloading the game and the new save you made.

 

TBH, I have no idea why you referenced Alternate Life.

 

PS> Not that I'm accusing you of doing so, but your comment including Alternate Life makes me wonder... I'd advise against installing multiple mods (ie installing in groups). It usually makes it more difficult to debug IFF something DOES go wrong.

No, I installed alternate life, logged in, logged out. installed skyui, logged in, no skyui, played a while, saved, logged out, logged in, played, logged out. Skyui will not load in-game. It's unchecked in the mods list.

Edit: I uninstalled both alternate life and skyui. I restarted my computer, started a new game, reinstalled skyui alone, and it still won't load in-game.

Ok, this is weird. No matter what I did, I could not get skyui to load. So, just out of curiosity, I loaded sexlab framework beta 8, which depends on skyui, and it loaded skyui, but not framework. Any ideas why it's doing that?

Ok, I know what the issue is now. After I deleted the game, and all mods, and reinstalled the game, I remember getting a message when I fired up Vortex, saying "individual files will not get loaded," or something like that, and gave me the option to fix it, or ignore. I clicked fix it. So, it's not loading the last mod I install. It's always that last mod installed, that doesn't get loaded in the game.
