Performance/FPS Enhancer

On my humble gaming pc, I can get pretty high framerates on low-ish settings, but I strive for that sweeeeeetass stable 60fps on all my games, without compromising the visual style and immersion of the game. I am running the game without Post-FX on DX9

 

While there are already some performance mods out there like 'ultra low settings', I would like to see something more along the lines of 'performance of the gods' for fallout NV. This would involve taking away some of FC3's ambience like the dust swirls, lens flare, insects, falling leaves, grass/bushes/trees swaying in the wind and the associated shadow movement. I believe these have a large impact on performance without actually improving the look of the game, and if I had the knowledge to make a mod like this I would - unfortunately I don't.

 

However, if there is someone who knows there s*** and feels the same way that I do, I would greatly appreciate someone making this mod, as would others i'm sure.

 

btw my specs are:

- i3 3220 Dual Core (Ivybridge)

- Radeon HD 6770 2GB DDR3

- 8GB DDR3 RAM

- 500GB SATA III HDD

Get Game Booster by Razor

Go to your Far Cry 3 installation folder and go to Bin, then on all the Applications (.exe), go to properties and then go to compatibility. Proceed by clicking Disable High DPI settings or such, Color mode 8-bit, Run as administrator.

get and run afterburner program.

Set the game to run on DirectX 9 (not 11)

 

And if you are truly desperate, go to My Documents/My Games/ Far Cry 3/ Gamer Profile and if you truly need to, make a back up of that document in my documents, and on the copy in the Far Cry 3 folder, delete all the info and copy and paste the following.

. Make sure there is a line of nothing after if you open in WordPad.

Use Highaglo boost, i use it for skyrim and FC3 and i get amazing framerates
