mentor93
I started creating my own quest and wrote a simple dialogue for one NPC. Then I created SEQ file using SSEEdit. Dialogue worked correctly, so I went back to CK and expanded dialogue by writing additional lines. I launched my plugin again and suddenly my dialogue stopped showing up - when I come up to the NPC and click 'E', nothing happens. I regenerated SEQ file once again, but the dialogue still didn't show up. I thought that perhaps I made some mistake while writing dialogue (though I checked every topic and couldn't see anything wrong), so I deleted entire dialogue view and started over again - created new dialogue view, create new branch and created just one topic with a simple "Hi" response text. I saved everything, created SEQ file again and... The dialogue still doesn't show up. I'm out of ideas here. It seems I'm doing everything all right, but the dialogue just doesn't show up. What could be wrong?
mentor93
I spent about 4-5 hours trying to solve this, rewriting dialogue over and over again, checking all quest tabs, creating new NPCs... All for nothing. Until I finally remembered I added an AI package to the NPC I couldn't start dialogue with. I checked it and saw that "Hellos for player" was ticked. I unticked it, regenerated SEQ file and now dialogue works.
mentor93
Well, it doesn't work again... I'm getting too fed up with dialogues in CK. For whatever the reason, after adding some more topics, a few lines of script and a second info to starting topic, the dialogue just doesn't start. I remembered about generating SEQ file... So what could I be doing wrong? It looks like dialogues in CK are completely broken.
