Problem with NifSkope-exporting/importing, and possibly more

Hi I'm reletivley new. I was trying to change the look of a mesh. I need help with getting the .obj back into nifskope after editing in Blender. To help describe this problem faster, I made pictures of what I adid in sequence and of things that I noticed. I tried to include as much as I remember. The model that I used is the female metal armor. Also it's my first time using nifskope, I just downloaded it today, so I'll start from there.

***If there are two nifskope files, the file to the right is the original unaltered. Too the left is the one I edited that I'm having problems with.

1.First I downloaded nifskope 1.0.16 exe, but for some reason it didn't so I downloaded 1.0.15

2.For some reason it didn't work for fallout .nif's but it did for oblivion

3. So I used the 1.0.16 exe again, this time it works and I'm able to see the fallout nifs

After following a tutorial, I got the jist of what to do. Now we actually get to the meat.

1. I exported the 65 NiTriShape UpperBody[25], because it seemed to be the main body/torso

2. I then imported the .obj I just made into Blender

1. Got rid of the pauldrons

So I export it with the following choices (I think):

I reopened the original armor with nifskope. I then imported the new .obj over the 65 NiTriShape UpperBody[25]

*Neither the original mesh or the other one appears

So I look for differences between the two files:

1.The number was originaly 36, but I changed it to 25 (upperbody)

2.As you can see the vertices are completely different. This is probably one of the problems, but again, I'm new to this and I don't know what to do or what things mean. I'm just showing what I did

2*.I changed the highlighted vertice in the first picture (the changed female armor) to match that of the second nifskope file (the original) as a test. By doing this, a vertice appeared on the model area (maybe the model itself is to small too see?)

1.Obvious

*Binormals seemed to be the same in the changed file as the original

*Tangents were the same

*Both centers were different

*Both num trianlges and triangle points were different (to be expected)

*When looking at the block details of NiTriShape, the Num Properties of the original is 2, while the Num properties for the other one was 4

Images aren't the best, because I just wanted to cut down on file size.

:thanks:

Does this help?

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/imageshare/images/716783-1230086269.jpg

The body models are a lot smaller than the head. This might be the problem, or fallout 3 just reads body models that small... Is there a way to change the models to the correct size?

Also the body models looked so small, I felt like I was playing with dolls. Tiny virtual dolls.

Edit: Also headgear was the same size as the head when put into blender.

Double poster here.

Ok, so I think I made a discovery. So after making the metal armor body the exact scale as the head and then putting it into nifskope, this happened

It's really small, but now I can actually see it!

So then I made it huge and got this result .

Ok, so now I know my problem is the fact that the model was to small, but I still don't know how to get it to the exact correct size or why it became small. Is it because it exported wrong, and that's why it turns out so tiny? Can someone please help?

Edit:And Happy Holidays. I'm going to go on a trip starting on friday which will be about a week long, so I might not be able to respond to any messages for about a week, but we'll see.
