NukAddict
Hey all, I've been having trouble with a mod I'm working on.The Interior cell i have been working on is a duplicate of Tenpenny03.Now, both have a star (*) next to their name in the cell view window.IE: Tenpenny03* OnedimeCondos* I believe that this is creating an issue with being able to COC to the additional location. In a vain attempt to solve the problem the stupid way I attempted to erase the star. I receive an error message window:Object ID ErrorEditor ID is not unique!Previous object is type cell. Any suggestions? Can I change the editor ID somewhere perhaps?
cyclone1969
the star in the editor means that area has been modified (unlike the star next to your esp name in the top bar which is unsaved data) make sure that both areas have a "COCmarker" in them cause without on of them it wont place you in the cell you can force it though Bethsoft TutorialIf the launcher is giving you any trouble, you can create a new file in your main Fallout 3 directory called "custom.ini". This file will override any matching settings in "Fallout_default.ini". To force the game to load our plugin, we can add the line:STestFile2=vault74.espin that file, save and close. Replace vault74.esp with the name of your plugin if it is different. Note that this won't do anything if the matching esp file isn't in your Fallout 3/Data directory.replace vault74.esp with your esp files name and have fun (Just incase) To create a "custom.ini" start a new text document with notepad and save it as "custom.ini" WITH quotes in your main fallout directory enter the line above save and continue
Khet
First off, you really don't need a CoC marker. A door marker or XHeadingMarker will work just as fine. It just needs SOMETHING to teleport the player to. The probably you were running into is this: OnedimeCondos* means that the cell has been edited. That is also the TRUE formID (though typing in CoC OnedimeCondos will still work), however! Because you tried to manually remove the * you were trying to change the FormID, but since OnedimeConods has already been registered you get the error. In short, stop trying to remove the star, add in a door/XHeadingMarker/Cocmarker and you're all set.
