KeCap
I download Dragon Falls Manor plugin. Enjoyed it, great mod, but I wanted to do some tweaks and maybe learn a bit in the process. So, I started playing with it in creation kit. Eventually I created a whole new interior cell that DOES NOT use any of Dragon Falls Manors(DFMPLUGIN) assets, designs, etc. It does use a few customized static objects that I created (mostly changing textures via texture set or removing shadow vectors for a new wall in nifskope) Here's where the problem begins. I wasn't paying much attention and was evidently saving all of my work to the DFMPLUGIN. This normally wouldn't be a huge problem, I could just create a new, empty plugin (IMDUMBPLUGIN) and have the DFMPLUGIN loaded and duplicate my cell and save. Then the duplicated new cell would show up in my new, clean, IMDUMBPLUGIN. Not so simple. My design uses those custom objects I mentioned. So, when you open the IMDUMBPLUGIN and load my cell a bunch of objects are missing. No errors pop up or anything and the objects don't show up in either the render window or the cell list. Is there anyway I can copy my cell and my necessary assets over to IMDUMBPLUGIN?
KeCap
Figured out how to fix my own problem. Here's my solution best I've determined thus far:1. Get TES5Edit2. Backup a copy of the mod just in case.3. Load up the mod you saved to and anything it needs.4. I got lucky and my work wasn't very much stuff nor was the original mod - Delete the entries that have nothing to do with your work - Not everything. If it's shaded a colour I wouldn't mess with it. If it's black type on white background and isn't yours, it can probably go5. Exit and Save6. Rename the file to something else Edited February 5, 2013 by KeCap
