CytricAcid
Okay, so I completed bloodline a while back without any problems. The only problem was that I didn't get the quest for Dawnguard after I was sent out of the castle. I didn't realize this until now, so going back to an old save file is out of the question. I KNOW i can fix this, because someone else had the same problem and they fixed it with the creation kit. Something about setting the aliases to nonessential or something. I've tried resetting the quest, setting the stage, almost everything to try and either initiate the next quest on the Dawnguard side. While doing so, I noticed some peculiar incidents. For one, when I checked the stages for bloodline, It counted stage 200 as set, which is for neither dawnguard or the vampires. I think this is why I didn't get the next quest. I've tried setting the stages for both dawnguard and the vampires, but it won't... set. Resetting the quest and setting the stage actually keeps all the stages I completed, but it counts the quest as incomplete so I can do it. However, there is no objective to go back to Isran and talk to him about the vampires. Talking to him does nothing. I checked the quest variables/aliases for both Bloodline and the next quest in order, and all the aliases were set to NONE. I saw another topic where someone had the same problem, and they fixed it by setting them all to nonessential through the Creation Kit or something? I have no idea. Also, I noclipped through the Vampire castle on a whim, and I couldn't find Lord Harkon anywhere. Perhaps he's also causing a problem?I also have a bunch of mods installed, but none of them should be affecting Dawnguard's questline. If it comes to it, I can list them out, but I don't believe it affects anything. I'm willing to use the creation kit to get around this glitch, but I'd rather not start a new save file. this is my first skyrim character and I want to do everything with her before I go and do roleplaying things.
