bloodstainedritualofthenight Encrypted? values in drop rate table/ other files

Hey all was trying to figure out simple modding for this game. I'm a programmer by career so figured this stuff would make sense but there's not a lot of documentation that I could find for what's happening in some files. Drop rate, for instance will have an item name following by a bunch of ascii symbols, is that some sort of encryption or is there some other tool I should be using after I have the files unpacked?
