lehamiteh
Hello, So I started playing Skyrim after a long time Playing Morrowing (heavily modded too) and I see that here merchants want to buy a steel arrow with 1 gold but sell it back to me with 6... After further research I see that a new character generally gets 30% the price of an item he sells but has to pay more than double for a bought item, and I think this is MADNESS!! Is there any way to sweeten this variable... In stead of 30% it will get 60% eventually reaching 90%, and while buiying it will pay 150% and gradually get 110%
Sabat9
I think a lot of the behind the scenes pricing math has to do with your character's speechcraft skill, the higher the skill, the better the price you get. there are also items (amulets, etc) with enchants such as "prices are 10% better". You could easily whip up an amulet like this in the CK and set the % to whatever you want for a quick fix.
lehamiteh
I know but I would like to mod the price range to be smaller

ripple
The two game settings that need to be modified are: fBarterMinfBarterMax http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Speech Scroll down to 'prices' to see the formula. Basically, if you increase fBarterMin, the base price of items (sell and buy) will go up, thus bridging the gap.
