plegnic
Trying to learn how to make some clothing for Skyrim. Using Blender and NifSkope. I've got the meshes created and some simple textures made to try it out, but I just can't figure out what's up with my skin maps. They aren't showing up right so I just kinda get a nasty green (as seen in attached image). Any ideas what I'm doing wrong? Thanks!--Plegnic
Ragicka
I don't use blender but I get something similar to that with 3DS max and niftools 3.7.3. I don't think you're doing anything wrong, textures tend to get broken during the import/export process. The good news is that it can be fixed in nifskope. This describes the process of transferring the armor nitrishape over to a new body mesh.
plegnic
Figured it out! When I was editing the body mesh, I accidentally removed the UV map and never restored it. So, when I exported the .nif file, there were no coordinates for the UV map so it just did whatever it felt like with the texture. Thanks for the help :)
