Making clothing - Can't get skin textures to appear correctly

Trying to learn how to make some clothing for Skyrim. Using Blender and NifSkope.

I've got the meshes created and some simple textures made to try it out, but I just can't figure out what's up with my skin maps. They aren't showing up right so I just kinda get a nasty green (as seen in attached image). Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!

I don't use blender but I get something similar to that with 3DS max and niftools 3.7.3. I don't think you're doing anything wrong, textures tend to get broken during the import/export process. The good news is that it can be fixed in nifskope.

This

describes the process of transferring the armor nitrishape over to a new body mesh.

Figured it out! When I was editing the body mesh, I accidentally removed the UV map and never restored it. So, when I exported the .nif file, there were no coordinates for the UV map so it just did whatever it felt like with the texture.

Thanks for the help :)
