ripple
I didn't say there would be no aggravation, but that it would be 'comparably less' :) If you were installing SkyRe before the ReProccer became available, you would likely -have to- make your own compatibility patches via TES5Edit just to make the compatibility patches for SkyRe compatible with mods in your load order. Now -that- would have been 'aggravation'....
ArchAngelAlien
Even with the compatibility patches it -still- doesn't install correctly. So they are useless as far as I am concerned at the moment. They are made to fix the problem, and they don't quite clearly, 'fix the problem.' I might as well have to make my own patches, because all this program does is delete animations for my armor/weapon mods. Then they make a video on how to install it, and just dance through it like it's nothing. La di da? Seriously?
ripple
Hey, you were the one who insisted on keeping SkyRe (I do believe I was one of the 'just remove it' voices)... :) I'd be more help with the ReProccer if I used it. Now if you want to know how to run other SkyProc utilities like 'Automatic Variant', I can tell you how to do generate a patch for that in 10 seconds. ArchAngelAlien
I've contacted the maker of the youtube video and perhaps he can assist me. I am just ranting again. "It's JUST THAT EASY!" ....... x_x. No.. it's not. I actually like the idea of automatic Variants, but you made it sound script intesive. Would it be a bad mod for my order? Also I had a question. MO sometimes spazzes out and has ordered my list different and re-priortized things on it's own, causing me to have to take screenshots to remember their locations in case it happens in the future. Is there a way to save it so it doesn't do it again? Seems to happen when a mod fails to install properly.

"It's JUST THAT EASY!" ....... x_x. No.. it's not. I actually like the idea of automatic Variants, but you made it sound script intesive. Would it be a bad mod for my order? The AV patch doesn't use any scripts. In a nut shell, the AV patcher utility basically scans your mod list, looks for creature/NPC records that correspond to the alternative creature textures you've downloaded, then generates a patch containing multiple unique records of that creature using the texture variants, so you'll get unique looking horses, bears, flame astronachs, skeevers, etc. depending on the AV packages you've downloaded. You can disable certain textures if you don't like them in the configuration menu (e.g. pink skeevers and panda bears). The utility needs to be installed externally like all utilities, but once you set up the patcher as an executable in MO, you can install the AV texture packages like mods. But given your current set up, it will seriously stress your GPU. I first installed it and a ton of AV texture packs when I still had my old GPU (9800 GTX+...yes, a 512 MB card), when I was compressing all my mod introduced textures to low resolution (most of the AV texture packs come in hi-res or HD, a few in standard). If you do that, the performance impact will be negligible (but obviously the alternative textures won't look as good). Also I had a question. MO sometimes spazzes out and has ordered my list different and re-priortized things on it's own, causing me to have to take screenshots to remember their locations in case it happens in the future. ArchAngelAlien
I am getting my new cards tomorrow, so I don't think it will stress my new GPUs to the point where it's not possible. It would also be a nice change as I won't be running TesSky or w/e it's called, and let me enjoy some new sights. Once i finish everything if you could take me through it tomorrow, (or another day) I would apprecaite it. For now I need to remain focused and keep my order trimmed and clean. Yeah it's the strangest thing, not the ESP or BSA order, I am talking about the Installed Mods Priorty. I had CBBE fail to install, (It now has a fomod) I thought it bugged, but it was just upacking the files for the auto install. It put it in my installed mods list, but it was gray indicating there was no data folder selected, at the same time it moved EVERYTHING around. I have it all setup perfectly to overwrite files and such, and it just moved it all around and screwed it all up. Made me paranoid, so I started taking screenshots. lol. I have alot of 'small mods' I would like to use and need your opinion. This is a sample of them: Dynamic Difficulty. - (Auto scales difficulty by your combat performance.)Achieve ThatBetter Dialogue ControlsCatagorized Favorites MenuCharacter Creation Overhaul - (Compatible with SkyRE)Cloaks of SkyrimWinter is ComingConvenient HorsesRealistic Ragdolls and Force w/ DSpSoB Custom skeleton for weapon placement. (Seen lots of scripts running in my Pap logs about this before)Duel Wield Blocking + Duel Wield Blocking animation.Interesting NPCSLocational DamageGuess the DistanceGlowing Ore VeinsDeadly DragonsThe Dance of Death Probably a few more. I didn't want to flood the topic. Are these okay to use?
ripple
In the spirit of maintaining a more manageable list, I'll flag some mods that I think that should be trimmed. It doesn't necessarily mean they will conflict with other mods in your load order, or that I don't think these are good mods, but one less mod in the load order is one less mod you have to worry about and check for updates:Chopping Block:Dynamic Difficulty - looks like it will mess with SkyRe's own attempt to balance the game difficulty.Achieve ThatBetter Dialogue ControlsCharacter Creation Overhaul - (Compatible with SkyRE) - how 'pretty' do you want your character to look? I prefer using 'Face Transfer' to copy facegen from other people's save games into my own. Leaves more time for actual game playing.Duel Wield Blocking + Duel Wield Blocking animation - had DWB for a while, but didn't find much use for it. Nice mod, but uses scripts that will spam your papyrus log even after uninstall.Locational DamageGuess the DistanceThe Dance of DeathMod that I recommend you keep:Catagorized Favorites Menu - UI mod, should be ok.Cloaks of Skyrim - Wrye Bash will handle leveled lists conflicts. You won't need any of the optional 'craft only' or 'no imperial' plugins, so delete those after you install the mod so they don't uselessly clutter the load order.Winter is Coming - Wrye Bash will handle leveled lists conflicts, but you'll need the compatibility patch for WiC + CoS, which merges conflicting outfit records. But keep in mind any mods that modify outfit records (usually clothing or armour mods) will conflict with these, and those records will not be merged through a Bashed Patch. But it will not cause CTDs or stability issues. It just means some NPCs will not wear the mod items as intended, unless you make your own compatibility patch to merge the outfit record conflicts. Most of the time, the issue is barely noticeable.Convenient Horses - script intensive, but running script can be properly halted and safely uninstalled if necessary (if not entirely cleaned from the save game). I use it and never had any issues (but I don't use the other script intensive mods in your load order, like 'Frostfall' and 'Wet and Cold')Realistic Ragdolls and Force w/ DSpSoB Custom skeleton for weapon placement. (Seen lots of scripts running in my Pap logs about this before) - I use RRF, but ditched DSpSoB at some point. DSpSoB is buggy, uses scripts, and in any event only covers default game weapons and shields (up to Dawnguard DLC). Recommend you keep RRF but don't use DSpSob. Keep in mind also that RRF replaces the default game skeleton, so it may conflict with body replacers that require custom skeletons, like those CBBE bigger bouncing milk dripping can crushing breasts (or whatever...as you may have guessed, I use UNP).Interesting NPCS - one of my 'must have' mods. Adds so much to the game. I use the 2.06 voice only, UFO support version. Not tested the current beta.Glowing Ore Veins - simple texture replacer. Will generate no issues.Deadly Dragons - uses some scripts, will need Wrye Bash to handle leveled lists conflicts. But almost a necessity given how easy it is to smack around default game dragons. fiewiel
dynamic difficulty - dont think that this works with skyre. check for some patchCatagorized Favorites Menu - pretty awesome mod. getting weaponsets on hotkeys is on my todo.convenient horses - I use it to give my follower a horse. Its like shooting with some deathstar on a pigeon. It runs a ton of scripts so uninstalling (if) will be really messy. Works well so far.Realistic Ragdolls... - Read some comments that its buggy with dragonborn. dspsob is also not bugfree. Make sure you read the author comments (xp32 or skulltyrant. xp32 is MIA since a month).Dual Wield Blocking... - I use the skse version and I think Im going to uninstall it. I play dualwield and the response is just too slow (and sometimes not working)deadly dragons - will prob conflict with skyre. not sure if its working bugfree with new dlc. ripple
RRF has been (sort of) updated for Dragonborn. Basically, the author just deleted the entries that attached the modded physics to dragons and some creatures (can't remember which), which was apparently causing problems with dragon riding (although it also means those creatures won't have the RRF physics any more). As far as I can tell, Deadly Dragon works fine with the new DLC. I've been following the author's posts on the official Bethesda forum, and even he was sort of surprised that the DLC didn't wreck havoc with his mod. Not sure about compatibility with SkyRe. ArchAngelAlien
Sorry for the late response. Had a bit of dinner. I can see removing: dynamic difficulty. - I think SkyRe handles this anyways.and, well I would like to suggest some points. For one, Character Creation Overhaul is a mod that adds races - birthsigns - classes - skills - specializations - aattributes. It's seriously amazing. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/21587( It has nothing to do with your face =p ) Guess the distance is an amazing mod that I like to use in unison with the telescope mod. It may not be required, but it's simply too awesome and I don't think it's very script intensive. The SKSE and MCM support for a hotkey makes this mod fabulous. The Dance of Death - I LOVE killcams. And I mean love. The ability to remove the restrictions on last enemy, and set a % modifery value for killcams is just something I really would not like to give up if it causes no conflicts. Location Damage: This is a tough one. I really do like this mod. It makes combat very punishing and rewards you for playing smart. You can get hit in the throat and potentially bleed to death. Also gives you the ability to do headshots on monsters for instant kills. However it's compatibility comes into question with SkyRE and some research may be done, I could lose this mod without too much concern. Duel Wield Blocking + Duel Wield Blocking animation - Let me just say this is amazing. It worked perfectly for me in my game, and even leveled my blocking skill with the time I was able to test my previous load orders. The MCM Menu hotkey worked flawlessly, and was very responsive even on a 176 mod load order with everything running. I would like to keep this if possible. Better Dialogue Controls: I cannot tell you how annoying it is to click on a response and not have it be the one I was focusing. The main control menu for dialogue is apauling at best, (Unless Dragonborn fixed this) and I actually downloaded this to cure my needs. It's a very nice program. Achieve That: Basically adds hundreds of new things to do in game, and even can reward you for things you accomplish. I don't see why anyone would not use this, (Unless it's script intensive, which I have not researched) I honestly love the fact I can earn in game achievements and get rewarded for it. DSpSoB: Don't even get me started on the weapon skeleton mods. I am telling you right now, I HAVE TO HAVE ONE. The default weapon placement system is natrocious. I tried using ATTT but it was VERY buggy. But fun when it worked. It was actually causing me to level the weapons I had placed on my character. For example: ATTT - I had a bow on my back. When I struck an enemy with my axe, it leveled my bow skills. That was the end of ATTT. DSpSoB is a GODSEND. The ability to dual wield weapons on your back with sheaths is one of the reasons I wanted to mod anyways. I found the custom skeleton mod replacers and was very impressed. However if you can suggest something less buggy and script intensive, I am all ears. But I need something. Vanilla is just not my flavor in the area.
