deMaccusweil Posted February 6, 2013 Share Posted February 6, 2013 (edited) I am sure this has been discussed before, since I have found this mentioned over and over again on 'tinterwebs, but I would 'love' to play a game with multiple characters in the same gameworld. One doing the thieves guild quests, the other throwing a stick for the werewolves, another going to winterhold etc... rather than taking the 'jack of all trades' route. I plan on doing a dual playthrough, once with a dark elf who fled as a refugee from Vvardenfell and another as an Imperial or Breton who lost everything to some kind of monster attack and decides to dedicate his life to destroying such abberations. The first will be an armoured caster who takes the easy route of the vampire (maybe with Bella Sanguinare to make it a little less easy), seeking titles (baron :P) and keeping multiple palatial estates around the game world (several dark castle and tower mods to suit) with servants, concubines and guards etc... The other will be a stealthy hunter with a crossbow, keeping one cottage somewhere in the wilderness where he will raise a family and face the elements (using mods such as frostfall, get snowy, hunting in skyrim, wilderness survival and anything else to make his life and survival in the wilds more challenging) for his livelihood, while also tracking down and destroying monsters (such as the werewolves in whiterun). It would make the game so much better if these characters might be able to see each others domiciles in passing, or if one returns to a previous site to find everyone slain (such as whiteruns werewolves), or if they find quests unavailable because the other has already taken them. This way the vampire could focus on assassin missions, wizard missions, stuff for the Daedra, while the hunter focusses more on bounties, thieves missions, joining the blades and anything else that seems to tie into such a lifestyle. It would make leveling more difficult, but I think there is plenty there for such a combination. If there already is such a mod, please let me know and I will do a little dance, otherwise I think it is something many people would be able to take joy in and aid in their immersion.
