COMBATMASTER1O3 Posted September 2, 2020 Share Posted September 2, 2020 Hello all, I'm looking for someone to help me out on this hopefully simple change to the ebony armor mesh. The gauntlet's have very thick fingers in comparison to literally any other gauntlet in game, and imo are an eyesore as a result. As an example, the gauntlets obscure any rings. To hide this, rings are hidden when using the armor. However if you like your rings and/or also have left handed rings in your game, you will notice the horrendous clipping. I wanted slightly drop the size of the gloves to be similar to say Daedric or Steel plate size, but I have no idea where to even begin when it comes to editing meshes. Lacking the time to even play Skyrim consistently, it's not going to be easily feasible to pour through the content out there and learn what tools are available and how to use them. This is where I would like some more experienced moders help to achieve what I want and also maybe learn something along the way. Here are the goals I have in mind:-I would like to reduce the glove thickness if possible to be in line with other gloves in the game-I would like to make sure rings are properly aligned and visible like other vanilla gear-Retain the more sensible look from Ebony Replacer Revival SSE (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16182) I hope to make this as easy as possible for all parties involved, as I don't want to inconvenience anyone or steal peoples work. I just want to see my rings in game while wearing some bad ass gear. Let me know how you want to proceed, whether it's contacting the Ebony replacer mod author for permission to use his mod as a base or if you want/need to start from scratch. If there are any comprehensive guides for simple armor edits available, or if you want to help guide me on how to do the edit myself, then I would also appreciate that.
