The Idea

So there's this idea I've had floating in my head about the distant future of Tamriel, or maybe Nirn as a whole. With the rate that magic has been advancing, why haven't time travelers from some later era arrived in Skyrim? Why haven't there been future inhabitants of Tamriel that meddle in the events of the Fourth Era? So here's some of the ideas I have currently:

-Time Traveler's Retreat: a small hideout for the people of the Ninth Era in the middle of the volcanic tundra of Eastmarch. The few mages that inhabit this place can teach you how to send yourself across the stream of time into the Ninth Era, or back into the Mythic Era. Learning to do so would require that you find an Elder Scroll (doesn't really matter which one), and read it. With the possibility of reading glasses specifically for reading the Elder Scrolls, this could become a viable way to learn how to send yourself forward and back in the stream of time.

-Ninth Era Skyrim: With your new ability to control time, you can send yourself into the distant year of 9E 763. Here, Skyrim is no longer the forested tundra that it was. It is now populated by the many new cities and towns that sprawl across the land. Here, the Thalmor have asserted control over the entire province, using powerful illusion magic to control the minds of the authorities, the leaders, and even several citizens. With the return of a dragonborn, though, they might not have hold over the land for long...

-Mythic Era Skyrim: This new control over the stream of time lets you go back in time as well. Ever wanted to meet Ysgramor? Ever wanted to aid him and his founding of the Companions? Many say he was lead by a dragonborn to the Skyforge, and led him to build the mead hall of Jorrvaskr. And around this mighty mead hall? The city of Whiterun. Some say that same dragonborn helped defend the settlement of Saarthal in the infamous Night of Tears. Who knows?

-The Stream of Time: How does one go from era to era? Is it just a quick cast of a spell, and then you're there? Sadly, no. One must travel through the River of Time to do that. The River is guarded by some of the most powerful of Et'Ada that chose not form their identity, turning them into the guardians of the stream. One cannot kill these Et'Ada, only their avatars, which will more than likely be the form of a Golden Saint or, on a very rare occasion, the form of a Centaur. Because of the distances between the three main eras, there may be some small bolt holes made by some of those traveling along the River.

-Consequences: While in one of the distant eras, a time traveler must be careful about what he changes, for it may have catastrophic results on the current Fourth Era, or even the distant Ninth Era. As the timeline become more jumbled with each changed event, the River may release this time flux in the form of a Hunger. If enough time flux has built up, then it may release a Keth, or even a Daedroth. If a time traveler persists in his or her meddling ways, an avatar of Akatosh himself may descend from Aetherius and dispose of the pesky traveler.

I am open to adding more ideas if you guys can come up with them. This is just a rough template of an awesome mod that could be. All someone needs to do is make it.
