Returned to game after a few months, very low fps

As the title suggests, I had played the game for quite a long time about half a year ago. Fully modded, using the Mythical ENB and about 80 mods with a GTX 1060 TI, it ran great at a consistent 45-50 fps at all times outdoors and 60 indoors. Coming back about a week ago, the fps was unbearably bad. I tried reinstalling ENB and Script extender, as well as a reinstall of the game itself, as well as updating all mods to their current patch. Outdoors I am currently stuck around 15 fps, but with the ENB off I can reach 35. I really want to play my game like I used to have it, but it seems a new update ruined it? There is only one thing I can think of that may be causing the issue, which is a plugin for "mfgfix" that vortex states failed to run after I close my game each time, however I can't find which mod relies on the mfg fix. Has anyone had a similar experience coming back to their game after awhile, and if so any suggestions? Much appreciated!

"mfg fix" is probably this mod. Did you update it to the latest version, too?

"mfg fix" is often required by mods making changes to facial expressions. Also poser mods often need this. Even if you're unsure, why you would need it, Installing/updating "mfg fix" shouldn't hurt. It's basically a resource or a support mod. It doesn't do much on its own. So having it installed should'nt cause any harm.

On the other hand: If a mod requires "mfg fix" and it's not there, this could result in "script lag" - which might explain your FPS problems.

If you need further assistance, a load order (and if possible also a list of installed .dll plugins) would be great.

On a side note: If you updated the game, this might have changed your ini settings. To rule out problems with ini settings, I'd recommend using BethINI. Choose a preset that fits your system (in your case probably something in the mid range) and adjust settings further if you need/want to. This way you can make sure you got a basically working ini setup.

Thank you so much! It was definitely the ini reset from Skyrim itself updating that caused the issues. I had no idea it existed, but the BethINI you suggested brought me straight back up to 45 fps in the plains of whiterun with all mods active plus the ENB, just like before! I really appreciate your help, you made my day :)
